Assessment and verification is an important part of the course to ensure that participants have understood and are able to do new-learnt techniques to protect, preserve, and promote life with dignity and respect.

  1. Continuous observation throughout the course offers candidates several benefits including immediate, personalised feedback for improved safety, enhanced learning, and improved confidence — in addition to ensuring positive values and standards are exuded by each delegate.

  2. At the end of our course there's a closed-book, written assessment of 60-multiple choice questions, based upon the material taught throughout the course. This assessment verifies that the participant has understood the theory of what has been taught.

  3. Part III is an independently verified assessment of the participant's ability to do Adult CPR. Participants will be expected to perform each technique including the primary survey, calling-down help, using a face shield, chest compressions, and rescue breaths.

  4. Part IV is an assessment of a candidate's ability to use a Automated External Defibrillator (AED) in an emergency simulation. Participants will be expected to explain how to find an AED,

  5. Part V will be an assessment of the participants ability to handle a Adult First Aid simulation based upon course materials.
